Cloud City is inspired by a visit to Chicago during the 75th Midwest Clinic. The atmosphere of the big city with its huge buildings and the chaos on the streets with cars honking and pedestrians constantly on the move was very exciting and thrilling for me.

The title of this works comes from a visit to Millenium Park where I got to see the infamous sculpture, Cloud Gate, or “The Bean.”
